The aim of the radio programme "Voices of Europe" was to present European countries by portraying selected young people and playing music originating from their home countries. In a series of six 60-minutes long musical radio shows “Voices of Europe” about young people from different EU countries currently living, studying or working in Latvia. They spoke their native language with a translation into Latvian.
The show is aired on Saturdays 14:00 pm and after the broadcast, both translated and original broadcasts, are available at https://www.mixcloud.com/piecilv/
The project is implemented in cooperation with the European Union National Institutes for Culture network EUNIC - Latvia and Latvian Radio 5 - the public service broadcasting for youth.
The European Union National Institutes for Culture network EUNIC consists of the British Council, Danish Cultural Institute, Goethe-Institut, French Institute, Latvian Institute, Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia. The EUNIC network works at building trust and understanding between the peoples of Europe and the rest of the world through culture. It brings unique European arts & culture in Latvia.
