The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office has created a collection of Nordic experimental music that includes records of experimental and thematic materials from Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The collection will be presented at the premises of the Office on September 7 at 6 pm by Viestarts Gailitis, organizer of the Experimental Music Festival "Sound Forest" and with the presence of the special guest from Denmark - Jacob Kirkegaard - a collector or untraditional sounds.
Musicians that create electronic experimental music use different electronic instruments, computers in their work to generate sounds that can awake the senses.
All who are interested are welcome to attend “Sound Forest III” – a festival of experimental music that will be held for the 3rd time in Riga on September 9-11 at the "Grivas Mebeles".
