The Latvian Concert Agency in cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Latvia is organizing the only concert of Orkester Norden in Riga on July 5 in the framework of their tour around the Baltic States.
The concert will take place in the Concert Hall „Great Guild” on July 5 at 19.00. The programme of concert contains beautiful, popular music - Piano concert in a-moll by Norwegian composer E.Grieg (soloist – young Norwegian pianist Sveinung Bjelland), „Sheherezade” by N.Risky-Korsakov, commissioned work for the orchestra „Black Virgin” by N.Rosing –Show (Denmark).
Orkester Norden is a well-known youth symphonic orchestra uniting young and talented musicians from the Nordic and Baltic countries, including Latvia. In this tour, the orchestra will be conducted by the famous Finnish conductor Okko Kamu. The concert in Riga will undoubtedly become an unforgettable event in our music life.
