26-27 April 2007 the Vidzeme University College and the Valmiera Museum of Regional Studies hosted an international conference Vidzeme. Church. Society.
The conference was organized by the lnternational Network of Baltic Church Histori¬ans (INBCH) with lecturers from the Baltic countries, Finland, Sweden and Germany. The organizing and actively participating parties were, in addition to INBCH network, the Department of Church History at the University of Helsinki, the Vidzeme University College, the Museum of Valmiera, Valmiera city, the Lutheran congregation of Valmiera and the Moravian Mission of Latvia.
The event consisted of several presentations, reviews of research themes by young researchers. Resume
