Welcome to the opening of the second season of the Nordic Style Thursdays on 24 September, 18:00, at the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office (Bergs Bazaar, 13/3 Marijas Str.).
This time round we have invited Juris Ulmanis, who is the first in the Baltic States to have ventured as far as the famous Norwegian Nansen did crossing the vast area of Greenland from west to east. From 8 May to 3 June, Juris Ulmanis and his team of three plodded through 670km in -30 degrees and in constant fear of running into a polar bear, which they actually did...
So bring a friend or two and come to hear more about the Greenland Crossing 09. Good company and evening coffee/refreshments guaranteed.
