On 16-24 October, the International Film Centre in cooperation with the Nordea bank and the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office organises X Nordic Film Days, which have become a regular feature of the film scene in Latvia since their first appearance at the beginning of the 90s.
During the nine days of the festival, the audience will be offered a fresh selection of films made in Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
The films are being evaluted not only by a special jury but by the audience as well.

Viktors Freibergs will talk about Hamsun's biography and creative work as rendered in films. The lecture will be taking place on 20th October at the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia.
On 22-23 October, Baltic and Nordic film institution representatives, policy makers, producers, distributors and filmmakers will convene for the Riga Meetings Film Industry Forum.
