The European Parliament Information Office, the Representation of the European Commission in Latvia and the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia invite you to a Round Table discussion on practical opportunities for implementation of the European Citizens' Initiative „Can Latvia become a platform for European Citizens Initiatives in Northern Europe?â€, on May 2, 14.00, EU House, Aspazijas blv. 28.
There has been positive Nordic feedback on the possibility to develop a www.manabalss.lv format as a platform for developing citizens' initiatives in Northern Europe. Nordic and Baltic MS approach the minimum number of six countries necessary to submit a proposal to the EU. Specific questions on civil society organization cooperation to move forward proposals will be addressed.
