The Nordic Council of Ministers is launching a new open platform with free access to all of its research results and reports developed in the official Nordic co-operation. All publications funded and published by the Nordic Council of Ministers Secretariat and institutions must be Open Access, which means available for free download. The platform currently contains about 3000 publications. ""Via its projects and institutions, the Nordic Council of Ministers is strongly committed to knowledge development across a broad front. Open Access allows us to make this breadth of generated knowledge openly accessible and strengthens the foundation for further innovation, both within and outside of the framework of Nordic co-operationâ€, says Dagfinn HøybrÃ¥ten, Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The platform contains publications published by the Nordic Council of Ministers, NordForsk, Nordic Innovation, Nordic Energy Research, Nordicom, Nordic School of Public Health, Nordregio, and the Nordic Centre for Welfare and Social Issues.
Publications can be searched for in Swedish, Norwegian and English. The platform is run by Uppsala University Library.
