Folketinget, the Danish Parliament, in Copenhagen will be the arena for the Nordic Council Session which takes place 1 - 3 November. Nordic parliamentarians will spend three days discussing Nordic politics. The theme for the summit meeting between the Nordic prime ministers and the parliamentarians from the Nordic Council is the open Nordic societies. Today Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis will visit the capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen to participate in the annual meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Nordic Council Prizes will be awarded at the Royal Danish Academy of Music on 2 November.
