Nordplus is the largest educational programme within the Nordic Council of Ministers and funded by the Nordic and Baltic countries. The programme is aimed at all educational sectors and organisations and institutions involved in learning and education. In 2019 Latvian education establishments and organisations submitted 58 project applications, receiving support for 33 of them with total funding of 609,167 euro. The projects are aimed at strengthening cooperation with the Nordic countries by improving the education system and introducing innovations.
