The Digital Freedom Festival (DFF) is a global and influential technology, startup, policy, and lifestyle festival that for the fifth year will gather more than 1,600 technology and startup entrepreneurs, experts, policymakers, investors, journalists and motivational speakers from all over the world. The DDF will take place on November 14 and 15 in Riga.
The main focus for the Digital Freedom Festival 2019 will be the role and benefits of digital technology for sustainable development based on UN Sustainable development goals.
Linda Liukas from Finland will be one of the speakers on DFF. She is a programmer, storyteller, and illustrator. Linda is the creator of Hello Ruby, a children’s picture book series about the whimsical world of computers, as well as the founder of Rails Girls, a global movement to teach young women programming all over the world. The Hello Ruby series has been translated into 27 languages, also into Latvian.
