The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Public Administration is open for applications from civil servants and other staff in the public sector starting from 16 January. The deadline for submitting applications in spring is 31 March 2023 and in autumn 31 October.
49 applications from the Nordic-Baltic region were approved for grants with a total budget of 363.434 € in 2022. A total number of 327 civil servants are participating in the projects granted by the mobility programme in 2022.
Zane Mičule, project manager at the Supreme Court of Latvia arranged study visits to partners at the Supreme Courts in Denmark, Finland and Norway in 2022 (project title Exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices between Latvian and Nordic Supreme Court staff on effective work organisation), has described the benefits of the project as follows: „The project helped to forge relationships between the courts of the participating Nordic countries and the Supreme Court of Latvia. Opportunities offered by the mobility programme are wide and versatile. The programme’s framework is transparent and well-planned. We would also like to express compliments about the application process in the electronic environment. The application and reporting procedures are well-structured and the electronic system works flawlessly.”
