    The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture is open for applications for individual mobility, building short-term and long-term networks and for artist residency centres.

    I Individual mobility
    Application deadline: 02.02.2026

    Individual mobility funding provides an opportunity to gain contacts, experience and knowledge from across the Nordic and Baltic countries. Such mobility is deemed a targeted trip with the aim of gaining new contacts and knowledge, collaborating, presenting guest performances or exhibitions and promoting Nordic and Baltic art and culture.

    Who can apply?
    Mobility funding gives individual applicants access to contacts, expertise and knowledge from different parts of the region. Funding can also be used to present art and culture productions and to raise interest in Nordic and Baltic art and culture.

    Mobility funding is available for professional artists’ or cultural practitioners’ travel and/or stay within the Nordic and/or Baltic countries. Applications may be submitted individually or as a group. In the case of group travel, each participant must submit a separate application.

    What is covered?
    Funding can be granted for travel and/or accommodation costs, if the purpose of the trip is:

    • collaboration with colleagues in another Nordic or Baltic country,
    • a guest performance,
    • an exhibition,
    • participation in a conference or seminar or
    • research.

    The application form and further information are available on the website of the programme administrator – Nordic Culture Point.
    Electronic application – here.

    II Network funding
    Application deadline: 09.02.2026

    From 9 January, applications are accepted for a one-month period from cultural and arts professionals wishing to create co-operation networks in the Nordic countries.

    This part of the programme supports targeted travel with the aim of building long-term collaboration between professional artists and cultural workers in the Nordic and Baltic countries, exchanging ideas and knowledge with other professionals, attending meetings, conferences and joint training. Funding of up to EUR 20,000 is available for networks of up to one year.

    Who can apply?
    Professional artists and cultural workers, such as curators, producers, literary translators and art researchers representing any field of art or culture. Applications can be submitted individually, in groups, or on behalf of an organisation.

    Examples of eligible networking activities:

    • joint meetings;
    • conferences and seminars;
    • staff exchanges;
    • joint training.

    III Support for artist residencies
    Application deadline: 23.02.2026

    From 26 January, Nordic and Baltic residency centres can apply for funding to invite artists from other Nordic and Baltic countries. The purpose of the programme is to promote mobility between the Nordic and Baltic countries. Funding for artist residencies is available for all areas of art and culture. During their residency, the artists must have the opportunity to focus on their work without distraction, meet other artists, and establish contacts with local practitioners of art and culture.

    The application should include plans to invite at least two professional artists from two other Nordic or Baltic countries outside the one where the centre operates. The funding does not cover artists who live in the same country in which the residency centre is located.

    More information about this funding can be found here.
