It’s a very sad day for the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia and for the whole Nordic family. Our director Jan Widberg (1953-2016) passed away on 16 November.
His passion for Nordic-Baltic cooperation, broad knowledge of international affairs and enthusiasm inspired us all. Jan has always been very much alive and present, even during the last weeks of illness.
Our thoughts and compassion go to his family.
