The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia invites motivated students to apply for two part-time internships (20 h/week, in-house, Riga) – one for dealing with communication and the other – for general office and project coordination support. This position is limited in time – for one year with a possible extension if you remain enrolled as a student.
1. Student intern in project and office coordination
In this position you will assist with research, drafting and, possibly, some translation (from and into Latvian and English), day-to-day coordination, event logistics and administrative support for the entire team. Curiosity, initiative and problem-solving are essential.
2. Student intern in communication
In this position you will support research, writing and translation (from and into Latvian and English), content production for our channels, event communication and rollout of new outreach initiatives. Strong in both languages – Latvian and English – is crucial for this position, and the cover letter for this position is expected in Latvian. Feel for audience-specific messaging and interest in policy and public affairs are an advantage, yet not a requirement.
