Each year, the Nordic Welfare Center allocates SEK 1.5 million (aprox. 137 000 EUR) to projects that promote cooperation between organizations of people with disabilities in the Nordic region.
The aim of the funding is to help organisations of people with disabilities in the Nordic countries to exchange experience and knowledge, develop projects or build up partnerships with their equivalent organisations in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Northwest Russia. The activity must promote the interests of people with disabilities in society in some way.
Networking activities with participants from at least two Nordic countries and at least one Baltic State or one region in Northwest Russia must have a specific programme and take place in the Nordic region, the Baltic region or Northwest Russia. Activities can receive funding of up to 450EUR per Nordic country and up to 900 EUR per Baltic State or region in Northwest Russia In addition to this are additional expenses resulting from disabilities.
Application for networking must be received by 7 Desember, 2020.
Strategic initiatives or projects in the form of a partnership between organisations from at least two Nordic countries and at least one Baltic State or one region in Northwest Russia could be, for example, in the form of a conference, the production of printed information or a campaign. Projects can be supported in an amount of between 4600 EUR and 46 000 EUR.
Applications for such projects will open in January and must be received by 28 February 2021.
