Workshop on Food Management in Municipalities and Schools "Zero-waste welfare society?" will be held on on 16th September from 12:30 to 16:30 at Birojnīca, Bergs Bazar, Riga. The event aims to raise public awareness on food waste issues, launching the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia supported Homo Ecos project tackling the food waste in schools.
What is the role of the cities in food waste governance? How do we measure our food waste? What can we conclude when looking at food waste in municipality schools? What are options for solutions in reducing food waste in schools?
NGO, state and private sector representatives working with food waste issues are welcome to join the event!
