    Finnish poet Heli Laaksonen and Latvian poet Guntars Godiņš visit the western part of Latvia

    From January 29 until February 1, 2020, the Finnish poet Heli Laaksonen and Latvian poet and translator Guntars Godiņš will tour around the western part of Latvia - Kurzeme to meet readers in Alsunga, Pāvilosta, Liepāja, Kuldīga as well as in the Riga. A wider audience is invited to the event in Riga taking place on 1 February, 16:00 at the premises of K. K. fon Stricka villa, Aristida Briāna str. 9. The programme of the tour: On 29 January, 13:00 at Pavilosta Secondary school, Dzintaru street 52 and 15:00 at Cafe Sapņotava in Alsunga, Skolas Street 11a. On January 30, 11:00 at Liepaja Gymnasium, Ausekla Street 9 and 17:00 at Children's Library "Vecliepājas rūķis", Malkas Street 4. On 31 January, 16:00 at Kuldīga City library 1 February, 16:00 at K. K. von Strick's Villa, Aristida Briāna Street 9. The event is supported by Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Latvia, Nordic Authors Crossing Borders program, Poetry Ride, Finnish Embassy in Latvia, Rozentals-seura in Finland, Publishing House “Pētergailis”, Liepaja Central Science Library, Kuldiga Central Library, KK von Stricka Villa, Pavilosta Secondary School and Alsung County Council.
