From April 26 untill 28, 2016, the Finnish poet Heli Laaksonen and Estonian poet Leelo Tungal, together with the Latvian poet and publisher Inese Zandere and poet and translator Guntars Godiņš will tour around Latvia to meet readers in libraries and schools in small towns in Latvia - in Limbaži, Zvejnieksciems, Kuldīga, Talsi and Saldus as well as in the Riga. A wider audience are invited to the event in Riga taking place on 27 April, 18.00 at the premises of Birojnīca (Bergs Bazaar).
Leelo Tungal's joyful wordplay Daudzpusigais ronis was published in Latvian in 2014. Heli Laaksonen's Piec ait kalns (the original title in Finnish is Aapine), her first book aimed to child audience, was published in Latvian in 2015. Both writers share the same translator Guntars Godins.
