The Media Conference "Empowering Quality Russian-language Journalism in Baltics" will be held online on November 26, 2020, 10:00 - 13:00 (EET) in cooperation with Baltic Centre for Media Excellence, Baltic Independent Media project, Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia, Nordic Journalist Centre.
This online conference will bring together high-ranking public service and other media professionals and experts. Together we will discuss the challenges and threats for a strong, competitive Russian-language media landscape in Baltics, including digital, political and financial pressures, as well as the necessity for rapid changes. During the conference we will try to answer the question – how to strengthen the community of Russian-language journalists in Baltics?
