A 20-foot marine container equipped with media, sound and projection equipment has already travelled to Greenland, Norway, Iceland, Denmark and Lithuania. On 23 November the Art container came ashore in Liepāja and next 3 days the facade of the Liepaja Museum will illuminate the projections of Nordic Spirit, that have been made during the Nordic Art Container journey across Nordic and the Baltic States. Projections will be shown on Liepaja Museum, Kūrmājas prospekts 16 from November 23, until November 26, every night from 17:00 to 22:00. The initiator of this art project is the Danish-German-Greenlandic art group Tura Ya Moya. The project "ANERSAAQ - Nordic Spirit" is a collaboration project between professional artists and children, musicians, museums and cultural organisations, in order to produce light and sound installation in public spaces. The artists invite children and adults to examine the spirit of the place with images and sound. The material that is created becomes part of the artwork when it travels further.
