From 2019 changes have been made in the Nordic Welfare centre’s funding scheme for NGOs for persons with disabilites. The aim of the funding is to help organisations of people with disabilities in the Nordic region to exchange experience and knowledge, develop projects or build up partnerships with their equivalent organisations in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Northwest Russia. The activity must promote the interests of people with disabilities in society in some way. From now also a NGO from a Baltic country can apply as the lead partner.
