The Nordic Council of Ministers´ Office in Latvia (NCM LV) was engaged in and supported a wide range of activities and projects during 2019. With this Nordic - Latvian cooperation 2019 publication, NCM LV aims to highlight some of these events and offer readers a glimpse of the wide spectrum of cooperation taking place between Latvia and the Nordic countries.
During 2019, NCM LV had three priority areas — digitalisation, social welfare/health and children/youth. Beyond these priorities, NCM LV was also deeply involved in areas like media support, sustainability and culture. The Nordic-Baltic mobility programmes remained an important instrument for strengthening mutual cooperation.
The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia would like to express gratitude to all our partners for a fruitful cooperation during 2019.
