Applications for civil society cooperation in the Nordic-Baltic region under programme Prosperous Future programme are accepted until 23 February 2024.
The programme supports Nordic organisations’ cooperation for a green, democratic, and resilient region with civil society in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and partners from civil society organisations with relation to Ukraine. Previously, support was also available for cooperation with partners in Belarus and Russia, but since February 2022 the conditions for cooperation have changed fundamentally. The programme has been updated and adapted to the new geopolitical situation, only permitting applications from independent partners with relation to Belarus and Russia.
With Prosperous Future, the NCM aims to continue to enable and strengthen the people-to-people cooperation in the region by supporting civil society and democratic development towards sustainable and resilient societies in line with The Nordic Council of Ministers’ vision and strategic priorities. The programme contributes to the vision of the Nordic Region becoming the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030.
Deadline for applications: 23 February 2024 (23:59 Danish time).
Applications must be submitted electronically in English.
Participating countries and territories: Åland, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Sweden, as well as Belarus and Russia (only independent Belarusian and Russian non-governmental organisations can participate.
